General Accountant Required in Dubai
Job Purpose
We are looking for an ambitious General Accountant (GA - 513) to be part of Finance Team in Dubai.
Roles and responsibilities:
Finalization of accounts on a Monthly, Quarterly and Annual basis.
Preparing Monthly MIS and ad hoc reports.
Preparing Annual Budget after liaising with other departments.
Preparing Department-wise Costing Analysis.
Preparing Project profitability reports.
Preparing forecasted Cashflow statement.
Management of Monthly Cashflow.
Handling Accounts Payable and GL Accounting.
Maintaining schedules of Depreciation, Prepayments, Accrued Expenses.
Liaison with HR on reports for Employee Monthly Accruals.
Maintaining Fixed Asset Register.
Preparation of Bank Reconciliation Statements.
Reconciliation of Intercompany transactions and liaison with branch offices in KSA and Egypt.
Handling Petty Cash replenishment.
Coordination with bank for various bank related tasks.
Handling VAT filing and payments. Adherence to Group Financial policy.
Coordination for Annual Audit.
Requirements:
minimum 3 to 4 years of UAE experience in similar role.
ACCA / ACMA / M.COM / MBA (Accounting & Finance).
Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Analytical, Able to work in dynamic structure.
Reporting to Finance Director
