General Accountant Required in Dubai

We are looking for a Senior / general accountant to prepare financial reports, perform research and analysis, reporting costs, expenditure, profitability, margins, etc. maintain the general ledger, perform account reconciliations, assist with audit preparations, and carry out other accounting duties as may be required.

Responsibilities should include but not limited to:

Maintenance of the proper books of accounts and the company’s records like Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, tax liability, and maintenance of all other financial activities of the organization.
Preparation of budgets and investigation of errors and variance analysis.
Any reports as required by the organization
Generate and analyze financial records and data to the organization
Interpret the financial records and suggest if any error is occurring there and should provide ways of improvement of the same.
Manage & control the inventory accounting
Experience in VAT accounting & filing
EXPERIENCE NOT LESS THAN 10 YEARS
The candidate is expected to possess the leadership qualities to guide the junior team members and sound knowledge of finance and accounting. The reporting required is generally with the executive of the company or the Vice President or general manager and CEO of the company.

Inventory accountant responsible for the following but not limited to:

Reviewing purchase orders for accuracy and ensuring that they have been approved by the appropriate department head or manager
Calculating cost of goods sold
Calculating inventory turnover ratios by dividing costs of goods sold by average inventory balances
Monitoring inventory levels to ensure they are within acceptable ranges
Ensuring that all inventory transaction details are recorded accurately in an accounting system
Reporting on inventory levels, costs, and turnover rates to management
Calculating cost of purchased goods
Verifying inventory counts and recording adjustments to inventory levels for items that have been used, damaged, or lost
Determining methods for recording inventory transactions such as physical counts, perpetual systems, or estimates based on previous usage rates
