General Accountant Required in Dubai

We are in search of a General Accountant for a corporate services and legal consultancy firm in Jumeirah Lakes Towers.

This position shall oversee the books of accounts of the firm and will be reporting to the Chief Accountant and Company Manager.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, with advantage for professional qualification holders.
At least five years of experience preferably in an accounting/audit or legal firm.
Proactive and able to work with minimum supervision.
Communicate well in English either written or spoken.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and accounting software such as Quickbooks, Zoho Books, Tally, etc.
Able to join immediately.

Duties and Responsibilities are:

Invoicing to Clients
Dealing with employee timesheets and expense reports
General Accounting, A/R, A/P, GL to Monthly Closing; ensuring all entries are booked and reconciliations done in timely manner.
Fulfilling local VAT requirements
Preparation of financial statements for audit
Liaise with auditors for annual audits
Any other tasks as instructed by the Chief Accountant and Company Manager

Compensation Package

Salary of AED 5,000 – 6,000 depending on qualifications and experience
Annual Return Air ticket
