General Accountant Required in Dubai
Main Task & Duties for General Accountant:-
Assisting in Preparing financial analyses.
Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
Assisting with annual audit preparations.
Check and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
Assistance in preparing monthly management reports and related analysis
Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
Organize closing procedures for monthly accounts.
Prepare monthly bank account adjustments
Payroll review and registration
Contribution and hands on internal auditing by analyzing the data of the general ledger which are provided to the auditors
Hands on internal audit
Follow up on bank correspondence related to L/C and bank Guarantee
Analysis and register revenues, interest and expenses monthly wise
Organizing monthly closures in accordance with accuracy and completion within time frame
Take the necessary procedures for the monthly inventory and prepare the list of stored differences
Matching supplier statements and preparing monthly payments
Daily sales transaction records registration and follow-up collection
Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.

Requirements for General Accountant:-
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent from an accredited university with 3-4 Years Experience as minimum.
Letter of Credit & LG tolls experience is mandatory.
Advanced knowledge of major accounting software packages for both general ledger and Statutory accounting.
Strong financial analysis skills.
Ability to work with little to no supervision.
