GENERAL ACCOUNTANT REQUIRED IN DUBAI

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Handling, managing & tallying petty cash

2. Monitoring inventory valuation and recording in system

3. Maintaining Day to day Accounting and Banking Activities with General Accounting, Bookkeeping, Pass accounting entries, Payments, Invoicing and Journal entries

4. Establish and maintain cash controls and Bank Deposits

5. Follow up with the receipts and payments on time & manage Aged Receivables & Payable.

6. Ensure transactions are properly recorded and entered in the accounting system QUICKBOOKS

7. Tax filing UAE VAT filing

8. Preparation of Trial Balance, Profit and Loss Account and Balance Sheet

9. Cooperation with external auditors to carry out annual external auditing

10. Perform month- end bank reconciliation statement and review

Qualifications & Skills:

1)1- 2 years of work experience as an Accountant in UAE

2)Bachelor ’ s Degree in Accounting from a recognized university

3)Preferably qualified Chartered Accountant Accreditation (ACCA, CPA, CA or CIMA).

4)Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in English

5)Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

6)Accounting Software preferably QUICKBOOKS, VAT regulations in UAE.

Salary -AED 2500 - 6000
