Executive Chef responsibilities include:
· Organizing, managing culinary and food preparation tasks.
· Modify menus or developing new ones that adhere to high standards.
· Obtaining feedback on food service quality and responding to issues and concerns.
· Supervise kitchen staff’s activities and give prepared plates the “final touch”.
· Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
· Performing administrative tasks such as making purchase orders and inventorying the food and equipment supplies.
· Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers.
Executive Chef skills
Executive chefs oversee kitchens and deliver exceptional meal service to customers using a variety of culinary and soft abilities. Among these abilities are:
· Thorough familiarity with the restaurant's menu and ability to develop unique recipes.
· In-depth knowledge of the ethics and standards used by food professionals.
· Leads, motivates and delegating multiple tasks to kitchen staff.
· Aware of current trends in restaurant industry.
· Exceptional leadership skills and time management.
Qualifications/Experiences:
· BS in culinary science or a certificate in a related field.
· With UAE experience working as an Executive Chef as well as at least one year of supervising experience.
· Having knowledge of Turkish cuisine will be advantageous.
· Outstanding track record in kitchen management.
· Keep up with best practices and culinary trends.
· Very good communication skills, both written and verbal in English
