The ideal candidate will be results oriented, team spirited and with a positive attitude. To work together with the Restaurant Manager and Chef for the beverage menu rotation especially coffee and tea, daily operation of the outlet and beverage for the restaurant, ensuring high standards of beverage service at all times, doing the daily inventory and beverage ordering, and make sure the stations and store up to HACCP Standard.

The emphasis is on ensuring that efficient, professional and friendly customer service is delivered at all times to create a memorable experience on every occasion. Upselling, attention to detail, training and motivating the team are all part of this role, together with rosters and the administration involved in running a cafe whilst ensuring that the brand values and standards are delivered and profitability achieved.

Responsibilities:

Greet all customers with fast, friendly, personalised service and develops a rapport with customers by learning their names, favorite drinks and food items
Deal and handle guests complaint in a professional, helpful and friendly manner at all times and immediately advise Restaurant Management about it
Comply with the SOS, SOPs
Provide detailed information of the menu for both food and beverage (portion, ingredients, potential food allergens)
Offer menu recommendations and upsell additional products, when necessary
Monitor production and wastage, providing accurate reports and recommended controls.
Take a proactive role in encouraging teamwork, cooperation, harmony, productivity and a positive attitude within the working environment
Maximize revenues by upselling
Prepares breakage and wastage report
Initiate and train staff on up-selling of F&B items

Competencies & Skills:

Customer service and excellent overall dining experience
Experience as a Barista. This way you can perform the role comfortably, whilst training others and overseeing day to day operations.
