English Language Instructor Required in Dubai

The English Language Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality English language instruction to undergraduate students, particularly those transitioning from secondary to higher education. The role focuses on developing students’ academic communication skills and supporting their overall academic success.

The position requires a dynamic individual with strong academic credentials, relevant university-level teaching experience, and a commitment to teaching excellence and continuous professional development.

Responsibilities:

Teach undergraduate English language courses, including foundation English and academic communication skills.
Prepare course materials, assessments, and learning resources aligned with university standards.
Support curriculum development and ensure course content remains current, relevant, and compliant with accreditation requirements.
Assess and monitor student performance and provide constructive feedback.
Advise and mentor students to support their academic progress and learning outcomes.
Use appropriate teaching methodologies and educational technologies to enhance student engagement.
Participate in scholarly activities, research, and professional development as required by the university.
Contribute to academic quality assurance and continuous course improvement.

Qualifications:

Masters/ PhD in English Language, Applied Linguistics, TESOL, Education, or a closely related field.
Demonstrated expertise in teaching English as a second or foreign language at the university level.
At least 3–5 years of teaching experience in higher education.
Strong understanding of curriculum development, student assessment, and academic quality assurance.
Experience working with diverse student populations, especially in foundation or general education programs.
Proficiency in Arabic is highly preferred.
