Customer Service Specialist Required in Dubai
MAKAN is a dynamic UAE start-up on a mission to disrupt the furniture industry. We are a new furniture rental service that rents upscale furniture in the UAE. We also sell Custom Made Cutains and Roller Blinds.
The company is growing very fast and we are looking for a Customer Success Specialist to join our team. The Customer Success Specialist is the face of the company and will focus on providing a high-class service to all customers. This position will be reporting to our Head of Operations.
What will you do at MAKAN?
1. Customer Interaction
Communicate with customers via email, live chat, phone and any other relevant channel to help them navigate the MAKAN website, products and service
Keep CRM and internal database up to date with detailed notes
Assist in troubleshooting daily operations with the operations team
Reach out to customers for promotional offers and discounts
2. Product & Service Knowledge
Become an expert in our product selection to help customers pick their items and design their space
Learn and deeply understand the Feather service and operations
Regularly review the characteristics of our products / service
3. Customer Success and Feedback
Track commonly asked questions, concerns, and customer feedback to drive product improvements
Maintain our manual of Frequently Asked Questions
Collaborate with the various MAKAN teams to enhance customer experience across their MAKAN journey
Knowledge, skills, and experience required
Min 3 years of experience & passion in customer service
Previous experience in the curtains industry is a plu
Great communication and interpersonal skills (English)
Ability to organize, prioritize, multitask, be flexible and meet deadlines
Knowledge of sales standards and customer service routines
Basic computer skills including spreadsheets.
Ability and passion for talking to people and a drive for customer satisfaction
Ability to stay positive, flexible, and solution-oriented in challenging situations
Comfort navigating ambiguity and working in a startup environment
A calm demeanor paired with a kind approach to communication
An interest in interior design and decorating is a plus!
