Cost Accountant Required in Dubai - Dubai

Responsibilities:

Cost Analysis and Management:

Analyze manufacturing costs and variances to ensure cost efficiency.
Monitor and report on cost trends, identifying areas for improvement.
Implement cost control measures and cost reduction initiatives.
Inventory Management:

Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile discrepancies.
Monitor inventory levels and Analyze inventory costs.
Support inventory valuation and periodic physical inventory counts.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare timely and accurate cost reports and financial statements.
Provide insightful analysis of manufacturing costs and performance metrics.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes related to manufacturing operations.
Product Costing:

Calculate and Analyze product costs, including direct and indirect costs.
Ensure accurate and consistent product costing methods.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate product costs.
Process Improvement:

Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance cost efficiency.
Work closely with operations teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
Support initiatives for cost-saving and profitability enhancement.
Compliance and Controls:

Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.
Assist in internal and external audits related to manufacturing operations.
Maintain documentation and support for audit purposes.
Requirements:

ICMA/ACCA Qualified.
Proven experience as a Cost Accountant in the manufacturing/construction industry, preferably in UAE.
Solid understanding of cost accounting principles and techniques.
Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across departments.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
