Corporate Financial Analyst Required in Dubai
We are looking to hire a Corporate Financial Analyst who will leverage strong accounting and compliance background to analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
of our Client, a leading semi-government organization in Abu Dhabi.
This position is a long-term contract role with an initial duration of 12 months and is renewable based on performance.
Key responsibilities:
Budget
Coordinate and participate in departmental budget submission.
Track department's budget.
Prepare mid-year budget financial forecasts.
Track all open contracts and determine all carry-forward commitments to upcoming year (mid-year and year end).
Generate a monthly funds status report for all cost centers managed by the department and provide BU and clusters with a monthly update on their budget.
Identify financial and budget issues and suggest solutions.
Process budget transfers (Secure funds in accounts, balance negative accounts, transfer budget to other clusters).
Manage year-end close budget process (Contract closure, work confirmations, accruals, carry forward contracts, ect.).
Financials
Process all day to day financial activities.
Prepare and submit monthly & year end accruals.
Raise expense requests and ensure the accuracy of financial documents, as well as their compliance with relevant regulations.
Generate expense report and gather all supporting documents for monthly Credit Card Settlements.
Support with the financials of specific assigned projects that may fall outside the scope of regular duties of the Division.
Confirm that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
Procurement
Support with the development and execution of department's procurement plan.
Revise and update procurement plan to be integrated to the approved budget as needed.
Management of contracts’ related financial records, track milestones, process and follow-up on payment as pet the terms of payment of each contract.
Raise CRs and PRs and Issue Task orders (BPA , Framework and provisional sum contracts)
Process monthly retainers payment for contracts.
Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
Identify financial and budget issues and propose solutions.
Knowledge, skills & experience:
5-8 years of relevant experience at a large enterprise
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field
ACCA/CFA qualification
Expertise in analytical and financial modeling skills
Strong expertise in Oracle Financial Services Software
Advanced knowledge and experience in Oracle Services Procurement
Sound knowledge and experience in raising CRs and PRs and issue Task Orders
UAE Government organization experience is an advantage
Arabic language is an advantage
