Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Sharjah for a Commis Chef. The Commis Chef will be responsible for preparing ingredients for dishes according to set recipes, ensuring the quality of the ingredients used, and maintaining a safe and organized kitchen environment. The Commis Chef should also be familiar with a range of culinary techniques and have excellent knife skills.

Qualifications

Residing in Sharjah or Ready to relocate to Sharjah
Previous experience working as a Commis Chef or in a similar role
Knowledge of cooking methods, particularly in the areas of roasting, grilling, and baking
Understanding of proper cooking temperatures and techniques to ensure food safety and quality
Excellent knife skills and familiarity with a range of kitchen tools and equipment
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes accurately
Team player mindset and the ability to work effectively with others
Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
High school diploma or equivalent. Culinary education/training is a plus
