Chief Accountant Required in Dubai
Role

The Chief Accountant will report directly to the Finance Manager/Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the effective management of all financial tasks, including accounting, compliance, financial reporting, tax and development of internal control policies and procedures. Provide leadership and coordination in the administrative, accounting and budgeting efforts of the company.

Responsibilities

Ensures timely closure of books on monthly basis to deliver on time monthly, quarterly and annual accounts in compliance with IFRS.
Prepares financial summaries, reports, analysis, cost-benefit analysis and/or ad-hoc financial reports as required by the Senior Management and manages the MIS system.
Follows up for receivables collections.
Ensures scrutiny on contractors bills and timely payment to all suppliers and supplier accounts reconciliation.
Prepares Cashflow forecasts on regular basis.
Manages entity level cash requirements.
Ensures entity level legal & tax compliances and filings.
Coordinates with external auditors for interim / annual audit plans and ensures timely delivery of consolidated and entity level financial reports.

Qualifications

Qualification : ACCA / CA Intermediate / M.Com
Years of Experience : 8-10 years
Background : real estate business
Capable of finalization of accounts and handling audits
Must have good Excel skills
Good communication skills in English
