An exciting opportunity is available for Butlers to join our Rooms departments in the Jumeirah Group. To deliver on exceptional guest experience we need exceptional people.
About the Job
The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
Comprehensive knowledge of the hotel, including all departments, services and outlets
Provide assistance and information to all guests
Build a rapport with all in-house VIP guests, ensure guests are recognized and obtain specific individual needs (likes/dislikes) in order to maintain guest history files and a high level of feedback within the department
Maintain privacy and security of in-house guests and is continually proactive in all areas of operation
Prepare and check-in arrival rooms, in-house guests and departure rooms
Adhere to the Front Office Grooming and Uniform Standards
Be thoroughly knowledgeable of all in-room services, amenities, functions, systems, as well as Opera and Micros
Fully responsible for Suites / Villas areas
Coordinate laundry and pressing – collection and delivery
About you:
Secondary education
2 years’ experience in a 5 star Hotel
Fluency in written and spoken English
Knowledge of basic Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of front office application.
Desirable: Other language (Russian, German, French, Japanese)
Outgoing personality with ability to communicate fluently with guests and colleagues.
Must possess high levels of integrity, intelligence, maturity in outlook and authenticity
Strong Communication Skills, able to communicate with VVIP guests, Diplomats and Royalties
Be able to talk and converse with guests with intelligence and ease
Passion and ability to stimulate ideas and execute them to materialization in best interest of the hotel, guests and colleagues
Must be full of enthusiasm
Ability to work on weekends and Night Shifts
