Anesthesia Care Nurse Required in Dubai

JOB SUMMARY: Provides a wide range of quality professional nursing care functions using the Nursing Process with emphasis on direct patient care and related activities.

SCOPE: Provides professional nursing care to the patient, receives supervision and direction from RRCharge Nurse and Head Nurse. Work is performed on split shift and as required, in ICU/ Nursing Unit. Hours are as assigned and may include on call after duty hours.

PRINCIPAL CONTACTS: Ongoing with patients and their families for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing plan of care; with new hire and newly assigned nursing staff for orientation and integration into the nursing unit; routinely with physicians for carrying out physician orders, assisting with medical procedures and reporting changes in the patient’s condition; ongoing with RR Charge Nurse/Head Nurse for reporting changes in patients’ condition and progress related to plan of care with technical and other support services within medical for direct patient care, patient flow and unit maintenance. Routine contacts with the public through patients, families and visitors.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Education: Graduate of BSc in Nursing.
Experience: 2 years minimum cuent experience in RR after obtaining license from country of origin.
Knowledge/Skills: Broad knowledge of theories and practices in general nursing and ICU/ specialty, company policies, procedures, and appropriate practices
Equipment operated: Basic equipment for nursing care and equipment specific to RRNursing Unit
License: DHA registered nurse (RN), BCLS/ACLS certified
Language: Fluent in spoken and written English. Spoken Arabic is desirable.
Personal Requirement: Evidence of good health and good grooming; possesses integrity and sound knowledge; of good moral character; physically active; and pleasing personality
Job Conditions: Projects good command responsibility; and works without supervision; initiate doing things; professional experience with demonstrated competency in clinical management; ability to establish positive working relationships with all healthcare members in a multi-national setting; participates actively in organization’s activities without reservations.
Travel: not required.
