Since 2021 we have experienced significant and rapid growth from a start-up company to now educating more than 6000 students across our network of 6 schools in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. Our ambitious growth strategy will see us continue to grow at a similar pace, year on year and so we are looking for an outstanding finance professional to lead our corporate finance team in this new phase of expansion.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Performance and Standards, the Accounts Manager is a key member of a highly dynamic and collaborative corporate team that supports the daily financial running of the business. Acting as a business partner to the corporate and education leadership teams, you will provide expert advice on all budgetary matters and present periodic financial reports to both NCE board members and our government partners.

Key responsibilities:
Provide leadership to finance and accounting areas of the organization.
Provide useful financial insights to help make better decisions about formulating and executing strategy and provide guidance and analysis to executive and operational management to improve results.
Maintain system of accounts and keep books and records on all transactions and assets.
Prepare and analyse accurate monthly financial and management reports, including income statement, balance sheet, budget and variance, projections and forecast, and cash flow.
Maintain control of the following areas: general ledger, accounts payable, expense reports, billing, and payroll.
Supervise the Accountant and assign jobs relevant to accounts
payable, accounts receivable, new-hire onboarding, benefits administration.
Prepare a variety of ad hoc financial scenarios as requested.
Competencies for this role
Minimum of 10 years of finance and accounting experience, including finance, accounting, audit, and analysis (including gathering, evaluating, presenting, and reporting financial information to management and external stakeholders).
Solid experience in coordinating audit activities and managing reporting, budget development and analysis, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger and payroll.
A high proficiency in English language is essential.
Excellent communication skills in spoken and written form.
High level of data analysis skill and ability to make data-informed decisions.
Management of human and physical resources.
Strategic planning, knowledge of child protection and health and safety.
Experience in developing and leading high performing teams.
Highly effective relationship management with a variety of stakeholders.
Collaborative team player, empathetic listener, and strategic thinker.
Flexible and capable of managing growth and instilling high standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field. Master’s degree preferred. CPA preferred
