Accountant Required in Dubai - Dubai

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Reconcile financial discrepancies and ensure accuracy in financial records.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports and budgets to provide insights into financial performance.
Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to gather necessary financial information and support decision-making processes.
Monitor cash flow, expenses, and budgets to optimize financial efficiency and performance.
Ensure compliance with the rules local accounting regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements.

Ensure compliance with the rules of RERA and also assist with the local accounting regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements.
Assist in the preparation of financial audits and liaise with auditors to provide necessary documentation and explanations according to the rules of RERA.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and exercise discretion in handling sensitive data.
Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Support senior management with ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
Proven 2-4 years experience as an Accountant in the real estate development industry in the UAE with a strong understanding of industry-specific accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, with experience using industry-specific software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of local accounting regulations and tax laws in the United Arab Emirates is preferred.
Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is a plus.
Fluent in English.
Fluency in one of the languages required: Arabic, Chinese, Russian, French, German.
UAE Driving licence
Experience with VAT and tax regulations in UAE.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals.
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
