Warehouse Incharge - Dubai
Responsibilities
• Manage all goods being received by the warehouse
• Plan the arrangement of goods within the warehouse and organize special requirements for stock, such as fragile products.
• They oversee picking, packing and distribution activity.
• Responsible for complying with the local authorities required standards
• Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set targets are met.
• Training staff and monitoring their performance and progress.
• Communicating with other departments, staff groups and customers.
• Ensuring quality, delivery and budget objectives are met.
• Keeping stock control systems up to date and planning future capacity requirements.
• Producing regular reports to show KPI progress for all staff.
• Ensuring the health, safety, cleanliness and security of the work environment.
• Overseeing the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment.
Requirements
Education : Education to degree level or equivalent. Specialisation in Logistics and Supply Chain Management is preferred but not a must.
Experience :A least 3 years' experience in Warehouse Operations, in UAE market, managing warehouse, for FMCG Retailer.
Computers : Good knowledge of computers
Age : 25 to 35 Years.
Others : Thorough knowledge of warehouse management; research and analysis skills; good interpersonal skills; excellent communication skills.
