Urgent Graphic Designer Required in Dubai
Responsible for producing winning conceptual designs for events and exhibitions for internal and external clients. Briefs include a broad spectrum of opportunities including events, exhibition stands, temporary structures, and activations. Management of workflows, ensuring projects are completed to brief, deadline and budget.
Responsibilities
Working from a written brief or verbal instruction, produce winning design concepts within the deadline and budget provided.
Analyse and study the client requirements, requesting further information from the Commercial team when required.
Attend internal and external meetings to discuss the direction of the project.
Research subject matter including client, brand guidance, products and services.
Plan out the space, to ensure a smooth flow of visitors, ensuring all requested features and exhibit items and included.
Create moodboards and themes to communicate the chosen direction.
Develop visual of appropriate style within brand guidelines.
Ensuring the proposal meets the client’s needs.
Produce graphic layout to incorporate company branding/product artwork.
Ensure designs are produced with a focus on quality
Prepare sample boards when appropriate.
Ensure full utilisation of in-house services and Company stock items
Actively engage in continuous Design Studio improvement initiatives, ensuring suggestions and opportunities are highlighted to your line manager
Demonstrate commitment to the core values of the company
Take a participative role in the Company’s sustainability initiative and ensure where possible your actions support the achievement of this initiative; reuse, recycle and replenish.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety, corporate, client and legislative standards across the function
Qualifications
Design Degree or significant similar work experience
2 year experience gained within the Exhibition/Events/Architectural/Interiors Industry
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of 3DSMax 2016+
Knowledge of VRAY
Knowledge of 2D CAD Software – AutoCAD / Vectorworks
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Knowledge of Adobe InDesign
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Working in a fast-paced and changing environment
Ability to work under your own initiative and as part of a collaborative team
