Urgent Accountant Required n Dubai

The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits to the highest standards. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs
Responsible for the preparation of multiple tax returns (withholding tax, VAT, corporate income)
Compile and analyze financial statements
Manage budgeting and forecasting
Ensure the accuracy of all department processes to the various accounts
Meet all payment deadlines
Processing payments and invoices accurately and within expected time periods
Support the management of all account inquiries and disputes
Balance accounts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Build accurate financial reports and identify discrepancies clearly
Execute on tasks/requests as instructed by the Manager.
Handling accruals and prepayments managing petty cash

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
Good time management and organisation skills
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Previous experience in a high volume Accounts function
