As Head Chef for Rosa Thai, you are responsible for the service of consistently amazing, authentic Thai food for Eathos guests. Leading, coaching, and managing the kitchen that includes training, enthusing, and developing an amazing team of individuals who can cook and run their sections, and between them the kitchen, to the highest standards. You will be able to work in any position in the kitchen and run the pass during peak time as the business requires. In addition to this, you are also responsible for managing several administrative business functions in line with Eathos procedure

What you will do:

Safeguards excellent kitchen operations through quality, speed, and accuracy, to meet and exceed customer expectations
Responsible for Rosa’s Thai customers satisfaction and adhering to the recipes and standards
Oversees inventory, availability, FCR and other food related KPIs and P&L
Ensures that all sanitation, safety and security policies and procedures are observed and enforced
Trains and monitors the culinary competency of team members; supports their growth and career development
Liaise with the Restaurant Manager and the team to urgently address all occurring problems and supports with solutions
Responsible of the on-boarding of new employees, engagement, and performance of the kitchen team
Works with the engineering team to ensure proper performance and maintenance of kitchen equipment

What you will need to have:

5+ years of relevant experience in operations and culinary (Thai Food)
2 years of experience as a Head Chef or In-charge
Knowledgeable in preparing different Thai cuisines
You must have outstanding leadership and problem-solving skills
You must have a great communication and organizational skills
You must maintain high standards of product quality, service, and cleanliness
You must be able to multi-task, work under pressure, and fast-paced environment
You are currently located in the UAE
