Supermarket Officer Required in Dubai - Dubai
Responsibilities
Receive, re-stock, rotate, store and distribute grocery products in an orderly and efficient manner according to standards and ensuring accuracy
Ensure proper speed, productivity, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness when restocking shelves
Monitor sales and trends to ensure stock levels are managed according to customer needs
Greet customers and provide friendly customer service while attending to their queries or complaints
Monitor expiration dates on grocery products and mark them accordingly
Use the Point-of-Sale (POS) system to accurately record and process sales transactions
Ensure the store environment is clean, orderly, secure and free from hazards
Monitor and report any sign of theft or shoplifting
Coordinate with peers and supervisors to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications And Skills
Bachelor’s degree or any equivalent qualification
At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
Knowledgeable in food production and safety standards
Familiarity with Point-of-Sale (POS) software
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Flexibility, able to work different shifts
Ability to take on added responsibilities
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift and carry heavy items up to 50 lbs
