Staff Nurses Required in Dubai - Dubai
Our client, a leading semi-government hospital, is currently looking for Staff Nurses specialized in Pediatric patients, to be based in Dubai. In this role, your responsibilities would include but not limited to:
Provide age-appropriate care to children admitted in pediatric ICU/CICU
Monitoring patient vitals such as blood pressure, heart rate, respiration rate, temperature, and weight on a frequent basis to ensure they are within normal limits
Monitoring the child’s progress and communicating with other health care professionals regarding treatment plans and patient progress
Performing physical examinations on patients, including listening to lungs with a stethoscope and checking pulses in arms and legs
Preparing infants for feeding by suctioning out their noses and mouths with a bulb syringe
Monitoring the infant’s feeding schedule, administering feeding through a tube that has been inserted into the stomach through the navel, and changing diapers as needed
Recording information about patient symptoms, reactions to medications, and progress during nursing assessments
Observing and documenting patient behavior, including interactions with family members, visitors, and staff members
Providing emotional support to patients and their families during difficult times, such as death or serious illness
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
Experience in clinical work as a pediatric nurse.
Good communication skills.
Emotional and mental strength, dedication, and self-motivation.
Empathy and the ability to relate to children.
A bachelor’s degree in nursing is required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in handling PEDIATRICS – ICU, CICU
Willing to work 48 hours per week.
Willing to be based in Dubai, UAE
