Job Responsibilities:
As a Speech Therapist at Reem Hospital, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in patients of all ages. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Conducting thorough evaluations of patients to identify speech, language, and swallowing difficulties.
Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to meet each patient's specific needs and goals.
Providing evidence-based therapy to improve speech clarity, language comprehension, and communication skills.
Assisting patients with speech difficulties related to neurological disorders, developmental delays, or injuries.
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to optimize patient care.
Educating patients and their families on speech exercises and strategies for continued improvement.
Documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate records of therapy sessions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
BSc in Speech-language pathology/Speech and language therapy/Speech pathology/Speech therapy/Speech
Valid DoH License as a Speech Therapist
Clinical experience in diagnosing and treating speech and language disorders across various age groups.
Familiarity with a wide range of speech therapy techniques and treatment modalities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with patients and their families.
Empathetic and patient-centered approach to therapy, fostering a supportive and encouraging environment.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Dedication to staying updated on the latest advancements in speech therapy through continued education.
