Our client a well-established group aimed in the hospitality industry is looking for an experienced Sous Chef- healthy food section
Location: Abu Dhabi
Package: TBD
Accommodation: provide(inside the palace)
Job Description:
• Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including menu creation, ingredient sourcing, and supervision of kitchen staff.
• Practice healthy cooking methods and be able to create nutritious, delicious dishes that meet the needs of the restaurant's target customers.
• Maintain a high level of food safety and sanitation, as well as manage the kitchen's budget and schedules.
• Responsible for training and mentoring junior chefs and ensuring that all of kitchen staff are following proper cooking techniques at all times.
• Develop recipes, dishes and other options for customers with much consideration on the restaurant brand and image while showing product results with creativity on variety and quality.
Qualifications:
Bachelor in Hospitality and Certification
Minimum of 3-5 years in head chef role or similar role related to healthy food concept restaurant
Preferably with strong experience in high-end casual restaurant for health food concept is a great advantage
Previous experience in managing several outlets
Previous knowledge in various computer software such as word, excel, PowerPoint, and POS systems
Experience in Outlet Pre-Opening and setup
Previous experience in licensed outlets
Good Organizational, Leadership, decision making , problem solving and Interpersonal skills
Well-organized and detail-oriented and able to multi-task
Must have excellent verbal and written English skills.
Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
