Sous Chef Required in Dubai - Dubai
Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with our Execuitve Chef to uphold the highest standards of French cuisine and deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Executive Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Oversee and coordinate the work of kitchen staff to ensure efficiency and adherence to recipes and quality standards.
Train, mentor, and develop kitchen team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Collaborate with the Execuitve Chef to develop seasonal menus and daily specials, incorporating fresh, locally sourced ingredients whenever possible.
Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed, ensuring proper stock rotation and minimizing waste.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen at all times.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume, upscale French restaurant.
In-depth knowledge of French culinary techniques and ingredients, with a strong emphasis on classic and contemporary French cuisine.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
