Shadow Teacher Required in Dubai
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shadow Teacher with a strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support a 4-year-old girl in her school environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ABA principles and strategies, and a passion for working with children to help them reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
1. Accompany the student throughout the school day, providing support and assistance in all school activities and transitions.
2. Implement individualized educational and behavioral plans based on ABA principles to enhance the student's learning and social skills.
3. Collaborate closely with the school staff and the student's parents to ensure consistency in the implementation of ABA strategies.
4. Monitor and record the student's progress, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize effectiveness.
5. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages the student's participation and engagement.
6. Provide regular updates to parents and school staff on the student's progress and any challenges encountered.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
2. Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is highly desirable.
3. Proven experience as a Shadow Teacher, Special Education Teacher, or similar role.
4. Strong knowledge of ABA principles and strategies, with the ability to implement them effectively in a school setting.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
7. Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and parents.
8. Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and professionalism.
