We are looking for an ideal candidate for a Female and Male PhysioTherapist based in Dubai. The ideal candidate is a skilled professional that is passionate about delivering quality care and making a real difference.
Responsibilities
Assess each patient and develop an appropriate treatment plan with measurable goals and time frames
Prepare and submit clinical and progress summaries based on identified and attained goals
Ensure that other treating medical professionals have the necessary information to appropriately evaluate the patient
Examining and diagnosing injuries.
Identifying the cause of an injury.
Devising an individual treatment plan.
Agreeing with realistic timescales for the sportsperson to return to their sport.
Keeping accurate records of their treatment and progress.
Discussing the sports person’s ambitions for the future.
The core skills used by physiotherapists include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and the application of electrotherapy. Some also have skills such as reflexology or acupuncture, so they can offer additional services to patients.
Amend therapy plans based on client performance, motivation, safety, and therapy outcome measures collected.
Assist to conduct staff appraisals and staff development plans.
Assist to develop educational materials and training programs.
Conduct physical, psycho-social, and impairment-based assessments to determine required therapy.
Design SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, Timely) goals with clients and stakeholders.
Design discharge and continuity of care plans with stakeholders.
Explain the assessment results, therapy plans, goals, and outcome measures to clients and other stakeholders.
Explain the intervention plans, outcome measures, progress, and discharge criteria to clients and stakeholders.
Mentor therapists and support staff for professional development.
Perform therapy based on findings, goals, and treatment plans.
Plan orientation for new team members.
Prescribe assistive devices according to clients' needs.
Provide clients and caregivers with education and training in self-management.
Provide clients and caregivers with methods to enhance health and function.
Provide therapy recommendations.
Record results of case history taking, assessment results, therapy plans, interventions, goals, and outcome measures.
Review history and physical examination findings to develop patient-centric intervention plans.
Review therapy progress and outcomes using selected therapy outcome measures regularly.
Select specific outcome measures to review therapy progress and outcomes.
Support community integration with community partners as required.
Qualifications
DHA license
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctor's degree in an accredited physical therapy curriculum
