Senior Business Development Manager Required in Dubai - Dubai

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement strategic plans to identify and attract potential external clients.
Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with existing and new clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Collaborate with the investment and structured finance teams to understand client needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
Lead the fund raising and placement process from prospecting to closure, meeting, or exceeding targets.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the seamless execution of client agreements and transactions.
Monitor and report on performance, providing insights for continuous improvement.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and seminars to enhance visibility and generate business opportunities.
Build and maintain a strong professional network within various sectors of the economy locally and regionally.
Contribute to the development of IMA’s strategies by incorporating client characteristics, current market conditions, market trends, economic projections and expected returns.
Make recommendations for asset class allocations style and market capitalisation weighting.
Consistently deliver excellent service to the segment to assist in achieving financial, client acquisition, fund raising, and other business goals.
Drive overall development, launch, and integration of new products and services through coordinating cross-functional teams and project management.
Lead structuring of products or accounts, working closely with portfolio management, legal, accounting, and client servicing teams.
Create product plans that evaluate and refine assigned products, investment vehicles, and their distribution, based on financial, internal capabilities, market, and operational considerations.
Serve as subject matter expert, providing guidance and detailed product information to marketing, sales, and clients for due diligence questions, client servicing, offering memoranda, and other purposes.
Ensure products are compliant with regulatory requirements.
Research and incorporate competitive environment, product flows, and client feedback into product strategies and capital raising tactics.
Conduct thorough market research to identify new opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends.
Monitor and assure data integrity and performance return accuracy for our clients and partners. Develop and manage relationships with existing and potential clients to generate new business opportunities.
Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for growth within an existing product line or industry sector.
Conduct research on target clients to determine their value as potential targets.
Uphold company values throughout business practices and utilise sound judgment in decision making.
Any other additional duties as may be required by management based on needs of the business.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

WORK EXPERIENCE

A minimum of 10+ years of experience in related field.
Proven and extensive experience and track record of success in the financial services industry, specifically in business development, fund raising and placement.
An extensive local and regional network to leverage for client sourcing, fund raising and products placements.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Relevant or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
MBA is advantageous.

SKILLS/BEHAVIOUR ATTRIBUTES

Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
