Senior Biomedical Engineer vacancy:

We are looking for an experienced and talented candidate to join SEHA Facility Management team who had a minimum of 20 years in medical engineering with exposure to hospitals Over a minimum 500-bed tertiary multi-specialty health care facility preferred at least 1 year in Abu Dhabi, primarily with the client (not as sub-contractor or consultant) for biomedical managerial operations such as not limited working as a capital replacement, medical planner, Equipment infrastructure, risk management and project management at the senior level of engineering. at leading receiving and operating all medical equipment under the final handing over of global healthcare constructed facility within the targeted and planned period in coordination with all users and stakeholders of the facility management team.

Candidate who succeeds and fits this job role should possess excellent communication skills and interfacing, and negotiation skills with stakeholders, In addition, to have, an extraordinary ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, who can support for biomedical consultation respond officially from facility side.

Here below are some of the major roles and responsibility for the vacant post:

Analysing and identifying potential risk and impacts to health care facility operational needs perspective.
Monitor the progress on project milestones, review documentation received from project for MEQ implementation, and detect contractors/subcontractors obligations for MEQ.
Evaluates the planning and scheduling information collected from Project Management Teams or Contractors and advises Management of expectations to the plan and potential corrective action and/or impacts to the project.
Plans and provides work direction, as required, for the preparation of planning and scheduling Control Systems to provide Engineering and main supplier supervisors the means to evaluate and improve the efficiency of their project execution.
Analyses Major Capital Project to plan the most effective execution sequence.
Review and monitor schedule and progress submitted by contractors during detailed design drawings, Procurement and construction up to the operation and set up all clinical technologies proper function.
Discuss, coordinate and resolve long term and short-term planning and scheduling Problems with personal throughout the FM and with contractor organizations.
Deliver timely, accurate and sensitive project controls information that facilitates a clear understanding of the performance of the project in relation to planned performance targets.
Examine Health care facility MEQ GAPs & existing process design readiness and present to Facility clinical management.
Develop road map with Clinical end users for smooth transition and activation of all medical equipment operation.
Capacity Expansion and Activation Projects Planning for Acquisition of new Required MEQ conduct Technology need assessments; prepare business study report, product specifications, conduct Tendering process, and Technical evaluation / Product appraisal.
Wide range skills of business communication management internal and external.
Obtain all required approvals for testing commissioning works, invoices, Desnaging …etc., internal or external for those linked with other stakeholders in FM Team and contractors.
Good experience in medical equipment integration and setup the medical systems technology to the stage of proper clinical operation.
Experience in DOH Auditing Requirement, JCI Standards, MTMP and all biomedical department policies.
Resolving issues faced by the professional team.
Good presenting skills, Attending meetings and conferences organized by the high level Facility management.
Staying updated with the latest trends in the biomedical industry and technologies.
Complying with the rules and regulations of the company and align with Regional social Attitudes.
Requirements

Holding Bachelor's (Prefer master) degree in Biomedical engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering, computer systems or a related field.
Holding a PMP Certification or course work from well-known and international institute or sources.
Not less than 15 years’ work experience as Capital planning senior Engineer or a similar role in the Engineering department of Large tertiary care multi-speciality hospital.
Excellent communication and organization skills.
Good analytical and research abilities.
Ability to work in a team environment with planning & civil projects as well as independently.
