Senior Architect/ Interior Designer - Dubai
Current responsibility and role/contribution in works across all projects:
• Project documenting, supervising, organization, controlling and coordination/ checking & scrutinize discrepancies of architectural, structural, HVAC, MEP & vendors dwgs. Check and attention to detailing across all dwg packages before sending it out.
• Interviewing clients and there requirements to access preferences which help’s in convincing them and achieving solution/ conceptualization/design finalization/budgeting/material specs in short time.
• Tolerating failure in design client meeting thus adapts and improvises with quick design solution.
• Conflict Management [consultants, vendors & contractor] to avoid delay in construction by using effective communication, professionalism, verbal communication, decision making, negotiating, diplomacy, flexibility, influencing and interpersonal skills.
• Working Independently and Managing/training/guiding jn architects/trainees. Overseeing day to day work and progress. Monthly and quarterly assessment of them. Guiding and motivation subordinates to enhance performance and quality, perseveration, problem solving ability in them resulting in.
o in each project, anticipate work as per the each project site construction progress and thus manipulate/use resources and team members accordingly efficiently.
• Budget, payment, façade engineering, construction technology and project guidelines discussion with Clients also maintain good client relationship. Getting sanction and statutory approvals from the municipality with coordination with liaison. Production of necessary dwg as per different Fire and safety rule, Bye – laws, Airport Authority, Environmental codes, Pollution control & Town planning dept. applicable.
• Project delivery with quality on Presentation to working Drawings. Setting up standards and initiating design process for new projects [Revit setup to site investigation on revit architecture].
• Timely project meeting and site visits for inspection against dwg and quality check along with consultants.
• Proposing Physical Layouts Suitable for Commercial, Non Profit and Governmental Entities.
• Working/Delivering concepts, schematics and site potential test on all upcoming new sites as per bye laws, thus developing project proposals for kick off meeting for new projects. [As I am quick in Auto cad and Bye Laws Understanding in the office]. Strong use of different software for presentation. [Power Pont, Photoshop, InDesign, Sketch up Cad]. LEED, Building services, collaboration of ideas and imagination, Innovative solutions, Modeling, sustainable design & planning, architectural visualization & imagination as part of the design process/development approach in compliance of Zoning Codes for the entire design development package/presentation.
• Preparation of marketing area [salable areas and common area loading] statements for apartments. Evaluation and analysis of FAR usable across all projects for maximum benefits of client.
