Senior Accountant Required in Dubai

Assist in keeping books of accounts and complete the monthly closing on timely basis.

Main Accountabilities / Duties:

Process the payment on timely manner and review payments with related supporting documents to ensure that details are accurate, relevant and sufficient.
Manage and Control Cost center and Profit center allocations.
Follow up on data to be submitted to the system on daily basis & make sure that invoices generated properly.
Manage Cash Flow and Daily Funds Position.
Recommend financial action by analyzing accounting options.
Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.
Manage (A/R-Aging report, A/P-Aging report).
Special assignments if any as given by the Management from time to time.
Preparing the Consolidated Budget.
Dealing with External and Internal auditors quarterly & yearly.
Conduct physical verification of petty cash balances on regular intervals.
Assist the management with the documents in Arabic.
Book invoices of Travel and tours and reconcile with the LPOs.
Preparing income statement & balance sheet along with the trail balance reconciliation

Qualifications

Bachelors or higher degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum 4 years post qualification experience in a similar role.
Understanding of Accounting Theory, International Accounting Standards /IFRS.
Good knowledge in English and Arabic.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
