Senior Accountant Required in Dubai
We are looking for a senior accountant to join our growing team.
Role and responsibilities:-
• Responsible for maintaining accurate accounting books in the ERP – Odoo.
• Ensure all accounting tasks are performed in accordance with IAS and IFRS.
• Ensure day to day smooth functioning of financial activities.
• Properly checking and verifying all documents related to accounts such as supplier invoice, sales invoices, contracts etc.
• Maintaining and reconciling ledgers, sub ledgers such as, supplier, customer accounts, fixed assets inter-company, inventory etc.
• Assisting sales team with regards to data entry and validating the same in Odoo.
• Ensure the maintenance of the fixed asset register in conjunction with related divisions.
• Monthly book of accounts closing for all group companies including but not limited to all prepayment, accruals, bank reconciliation, reconciling all ledgers, and ageing reports
• Ensure finalization of trial balance after incorporating the entire accounting entries.
• Executing regular physical stock count to ensure accuracy of the inventory in the system.
• Assisting management in strictly implementing internal control system.
• Ensure preparation of the VAT returns for in time submissions.
• Assisting Financial Controller with all required reports and data to ensure accurate and punctual reportings
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in accounting along with certification CA - Inter (completed articleship) or qualified CMA
- Communicate accurately, correctly, timely, effectively and in an appropriate manner using email, documentation and verbally.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint), Navision, Google suite.
