Senior Accountant
This position reports to the Financial Controller, the individual will be be responsible for overseeing the general ledger, balance sheet accounts and reconciliations, treasury functionalities and tax reporting for all legal entities.
Responsibilities:
· This role will interface with all levels in the organization to perform many tasks including but not limited to list below.
· Maintaining general ledgers for all entities to ensure smooth consolidation.
· Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and ensuring accuracy of financials.
· Transition and implementation of new accounting software.
· Cash and bank positions updated and reconciled on daily basis.
· Tax records maintained for all legal entities and filing of returns done on timely basis.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
· You can operate in both a Microsoft Office Suite and G-Suite Environment
· Master’s degree or higher in Accounting, Economics, or Finance required/ Professional accountancy degree preferred.
· 5+ years financial planning and reporting experience required with superior knowledge in P&L, BS, and Cash Flow modelling
· Prior experience in consumer goods, ecommerce, or contract manufacturing; cosmetics or beauty industry experience a plus
· Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with solid business and financial acumen
· You possess a can-do, positive attitude – no job is too big or too small.
· You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
