Senior Accountant Required in Dubai

Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances
Assist in preparing financial statements for group entities
Assist in performing monthly balance sheet, income statement, and changes in financial position/budget variance analysis
Review accounting records/treatments for appropriateness and completeness and ensure compliance with the internal and external reporting requirements
Liaise with teams in group companies to ensure completeness of monthly closing and review their reporting packages and investigate errors
Keep track and review all new agreements with vendors/customers
Prepare monthly bank reconciliation
Maintain and reconcile fixed asset register and calculate monthly depreciation
Coordinate with relevant teams to obtain the monthly customer aging and sales reports
Prepare monthly accruals and prepayment schedules

Requirements:

4 years experience in accounting, preferably in Big4
Solid knowledge of IFRS
High sense of responsibility and ability to work autonomously
Strong communication and time management skills
Result focused and have experience working within deadlines
