Senior Accountant Required in Dubai.

We are looking for a qualified Senior Accountant to assist the Head of Accounts in all aspects of Accounts department including tax compliance.

Responsibilities:

· Verify and post accounting transactions including accounts receivables from leasing.

· Ensure collections are duly deposited in bank and accounted.

· Verify, post payments and issue cheques to vendors.

· Assist in bank reconciliations and treasury management.

· Prepare bank transfers, locally and internationally.

· Assist in monthly closing of accounts.

· Assist in financial and tax audits.

· Assist in fixed assets / property master file.

· Assist in preparing financial statements and schedules.

· Perform other routine daily accounting requirements.

· Assist in implementation of new tax laws such as corporate tax law.

· Preparation of tax returns, filing and other submissions.

Qualifications:

· At least 6 - 10 years proven experience as Accounting Supervisor or Senior Accountant with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in Tax compliance including returns preparation and filing.

· Bachelor in Accounting, Finance or relevant

· CPA, CA licensure preferred

· Good technical knowledge of Tax Accounting and relevant laws

· Previous experience in Real Estate and Property Leasing industry

· Strong analytical and interpersonal skills

· Self-motivated with the ability to generate and plan work and manage priorities

· Ability to meet deadlines and solve problems
