Senior Accountant Required in Dubai - Dubai
The position is a contract role with an initial duration of 6 months and renewable based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and ensure the accuracy of the general ledger accounts.
Prepare and review complex journal entries for various financial transactions.
Conduct detailed account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Lead the preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS and GAAP.
Coordinate and support the month-end and year-end close processes, including financial reporting and analysis.
Provide insightful analysis of financial data to management and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and support business initiatives.
Mentor and support junior accounting staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
ACCA/CA/CPA certified.
Minimum of 4-5 years of progressive experience in general ledger accounting.
Solid understanding of IFRS and relevant statutory regulations.
Experience in the real estate industry is advantageous.
Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Availability:
Preference will be given to candidates available immediately after accepting the offer.
