Senior Accountant Required in Dubai - Dubai

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring compliance with finance and company policies.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals.
- Monitor and report on project budgets, costs, and financial performance.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure accurate tracking of project expenses and revenue recognition.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide detailed explanations for significant deviations from budgets and forecasts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax returns.
- Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
- Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in the real estate development industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
