Senior Accountant Required in Dubai - Dubai
The primary responsibility of this role is to support Finance Manager in areas of accounting, controls, compliance, and management reporting for one of the world's largest producers and marketers of high-quality fresh fruits.
FMCG experience is a MUST (A background in fresh produce supply will be considered an added advantage).
Assist Finance Manager in period end close activities to ensure quality and timeliness of information for submission
Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring they are accurately recorded and processed
Work closely with Finance Manager on credit collection and coordinate with Shared Service Centre on accurate and timely customer billings
Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures (e.g. credit management, balance sheet reviews)
Assist in auditing, taxation and other statutory compliance processes of the company
Assist in forecasting, budgeting process, financial analyses and reports
Manage the inventory records.
Support Finance Manager on other ad-hoc projects and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years relevant work experience or exposure in similar role, preferably with fresh produce trading industry exposure
Degree in Accounting or Finance with professional certification (CPA preferred)
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Experience in SAP S/4 HANA and Hyperion planning is an advantage
Good command of English and Arabic language (oral and written)
