We are seeking a passionate and self-driven Senior Academic Director, who is required to provide sound leadership in all aspects of our business, demonstrate vision, and empower others to deliver Trusity’s offerings. In this role, you will work closely with Trusity’s founding members, as well as other stakeholders from the academic ecosystem, to meet the organization’s objectives
In this role, you would work collaboratively and manage a team to help equip students and faculty, learners and researchers, from across the globe, with academically rigorous and industry informed knowledge, skills and technologies that will thereby garner recognition and esteem of both industry and academia. You will be responsible to ensure the team collaborates and delivers its best in line with Trusity’s aim to nurture and create lifelong learners by inculcating a genuine love for learning.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Establish and Lead the Academic Team in developing courseware design of all online content including LIVE Online teacher led pedagogy.
Lead creation of online/digital learning program for different curricula for different age groups.
Ensure all learning components are created to the highest possible standards, and that all necessary evaluation and monitoring procedures are followed.
Conduct the quality control of teaching products and always strive to modify the existing teaching product line according to the needs of students, teachers and market development.
Have passion and ability to design, develop and deploy training content in a workshop mode incorporating the latest content and pedagogy.
Organize and manage teaching and research output and carry out quality control, making sure teaching and research products help students at different levels improve their academic scores and personality development.
Lead the growth demands and ensure products and services are aligned with academic customer expectations as well as the strategic direction of Trusity and its ecosystem partners.
Establish, develop and maintain partnership networks for the effective deployment and marketing of various products and services from Trusity’s platform.
Communicate to internal and external stakeholders on programs’ strategies, plans, processes and methodologies and be an advocate for the programs internally and externally.
Stay adept and informed of the latest developments in eLearning platforms research and development, trends and practices. Keep abreast of developments in the education field as well as in other fields related to the department target group. Transfer these learnings to the content team and into new product development.
Actively lead and refine programs’ strategies and plans to improve efficiency, quality, and effectiveness
People Management: Ensure that team performance is managed appropriately, workload allocation is done in a timely manner, and that the team has access to the necessary support to enable them to complete all tasks.
Engender a culture of excellence, co-operation and respect within the departments.
Knowledge Transfer: Ensure apt and prompt training and on-boarding of new recruits, as well as create new opportunities to upskill the current team.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following Skills and Experience:
Prior experience of developing and managing successful ELearning platforms and academic enablement programs.
Experience in formulating strategies and implementing plans for academic and skill development programs.
Validated experience in win-win partnership development and management.
Ability to negotiate and close complex deals.
Excellent communication and presentation skills exhibited at executive, management and academic levels.
Strong commercial awareness and business skills.
Strong people and project management skills.
Self – motivated, critical thinker who is team oriented but also able to work independently while understanding and performing the role in the context of the wider team and international organization.
Ability to communicate customer and partner requirements effectively to an internal company audience.
Ability to prioritize workloads to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Ability to craft, aggregate and analyze useful data and synthesize useful information with actionable insights.
Reporting and forecasting skills.
Enthusiastic to work in a growing start-up environment with tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
6 - 8 years of experience in teaching at a reputed school or in EdTech corporate sector with a strong passion for teaching / education.
