In order to be considered, you must be either in the UAE or willing to relocate to UAE.
Key Responsibilities
Clearly articulate technical capabilities and give technical demonstrations.
Find and maintain prospective clients.
Provide general technical support to clients.
Generate leads.
Meet senior client personnel.
Gather client intelligence and market intelligence.
Ability to sense in change in customer requirement, technology and the market requirement.
Qualify potential clients and understand their techno-commercial requirements & needs comprehensively.
Monitoring activities and reporting on existing sales prospects and next steps to close the sales.
Networking with key influencers in the market, build new relations and nurture existing relations.
traveling and attending exhibitions to establish strategic relationships with clients & suppliers.
Handle commercial and technical negotiations with clients.
Identify clients decision-making process and the key stakeholders who will be involved in awarding ship building projects.
Co-ordinate with engineering and other departments with-in the company to support the sales function.
Proactively pursue new business and sales opportunities
Always identify new markets and new clients.
Be a brand ambassador and reflect company values at all times.
Required Skills:
A university degree in Marine or Mechanical Engineering.
A minimum 10 years with at least 5 years’ experience as a sales manager in a leading shipbuilding company with a proven track record of achieving sales target.
Must be a strong communicator in English.
Must be dynamic and ambitious.
Able to discuss highly technical concepts with prospective leads.
Willingness to travel.
Able to influence and persuade.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker in the means of making decisions that are long terms based to achieve sustainable results.
Passionate about networking and meeting people for business.
Honest and trustworthy.
A proven and successful track record in (technical) Sales, preferably with an international scope.
Should possess Technical and Commercial knowledge
Ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
Strong business sense and industry expertise
