General Purpose
To facilitate the smooth running of the Furniture Showrooms, taking the lead role on behalf of the Sales
Manager in one of Furniture Plus’ sites, but able to work between all sites as required, providing high
levels of service to all, regardless of need.
Detailed Duties
 Undertake the lead role in the showroom.
 Meet with Sales Manager weekly to review and plan
 Guide the activities of a range of other staff and volunteers.
 Facilitate effective showroom presentation, display and pricing.
 Greet and welcome customers, dealing with enquiries as appropriate.
 Process sales, dealing with customers on an individual basis.
 Assist with cash processing and record keeping as required.
 Liaise with workshop team for customer requests for renovations etc.
 Utilise the services of volunteers/placements, ensuring that they are fully aware of safety procedures.
 Carry out general Risk Assessments as directed.
 Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Regulations throughout the warehouse.
 Work on own initiative and as part of a team to ensure that the mission of Furniture Plus is understood
and promoted at all times.
 Assist in other areas of the warehouse as directed by the Management Team
