JOB Description: SALES DIRECTOR – FMCG (Distribution)

Responsibilities
• Develop and execute sales & marketing strategies to achieve set targets and to expand the company’s customer base.
• Building, motivating and overseeing a sales team.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relations.
• Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
• Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
• Identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets
• Representing the business at conferences, trade fairs and networking events
• Maximizing new business development opportunities
Requirements
• At-least 10 years of proven sales experience in consistently meeting or exceeding sale targets in FMCG distribution in the UAE handling Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, Petrol Stations & Pharmacies.
• Demonstrable experience in identifying potential brands/products and negotiating on company’s behalf to secure distribution rights for the territories.
• Demonstrable experience in conducting proper due diligence to identifying & appoint distributors in overseas countries.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including senior executive and board level.
• Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
• Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and position them against competitors
• Demonstrable experience in developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Good Commercial business sense
• The ability to motivate and lead a team
• Initiative, drive and enthusiasm
