Reservations Agent Required in Dubai - Dubai

Core Functions:

Provide the best first impression of entity to all callers.
Convert, quickly, inquiries into contracted business and respond, positively, to sales inquiries.
Attract guest and enhance their loyalty, providing a distinctive service through communication and sales skills, to improve the entities image and to increase revenue.
Actively up-sells each business opportunity to maximize revenue opportunity.
Maintain strong commercial relationships with direct guests, third party bookers and partners: (Guest/Companies/Agencies)

Duties & Responsibilities:

Answer all incoming telephone calls utilizing company approved standard of greeting, followed by reservations script in handling the Guest inquiry for Rooms/Restaurants reservation.
Handle other reservation inquiries via fax, email and other channels as directed according to standard operating procedures.
Process all reservations requests by entering the data accurately in the Property management system.
Process requests for reservation modifications and cancellations according to standard operating procedures.
Identify guest reservation needs and determine the appropriate Room type/Outlet.
Verify availability of Rooms/Outlets and rates and explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers.
Ensure all details including full address, telephone number and email address along with any preferences are updated on the individual profile and that all profiles are maintained, cleaned, and merged correctly and regularly.
Ensure correct profiles are attached for guests, Travel Agents and Corporates to ensure quality of reservations data.
Identify Sales opportunities through individuals, Corporate Accounts, Wholesalers and Travel Management companies.
Ensure all FAM Trip / Complimentary rooms are booked as per standard outlined.
Follow up on non-guaranteed / tentative bookings and ensure all advance bookings are guaranteed.
To maintain the Reservation correspondence.
Ensure daily task lists are covered before end of the shift.
To be fully aware of the deposit conditions and credit policy of the property
Be fully familiar with all market segments and rate plans used across all distribution channels.
Review all expected arrivals 7,3 & 1 days prior to the arrival date.
Print and reconcile trace reports, No show reports daily.
Print cancellation report on daily basis and ensure cancellations are charged as per the policy.
Ensure that the correct market segment and Business source are linked to the rate code used.
Arrange airport/city transportation and check airport transportation reports on daily basis.
Ensuring that all work materials are available, and the office area is kept neat and tidy, etc.

Qualification:

· Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent

Minimum Experience:

· 1-year minimum experience in a similar role in four- or five-star hotel in UAE
