Responsibilities:
- Follow the day-to-day operations set by the line Manager in the Human Resources department to ensure continuity of work.
- Manage the processing of all administrative requests and queries, including but not limited to leave, termination and end of service, etc. to ensure that employee affairs are addressed and responded to in a timely manner in line with HR policies and procedures.
- Manage all activities and processes related to the maintenance of employee data to ensure that this information is current, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
- Manage the employee grievances and disciplinary action processes, in consultation with Internal Audit department, in order to ensure all employee matters are investigated and resolved in a professional matter in line with established code of conduct and employee relations policies.
- Drafting, implementing, and maintaining company policies and procedures, contracts, job descriptions, performance appraisals, and the recruitment process for vacant positions.
- Working closely with various department heads to ensure all understand and implement policies and procedures accordingly.
- Create purchase requisition and good receipt notes for all invoices related to HR.
Medical & Life Insurance.
- Manage all addition; deletion; replacement & upgrade requests to ensure all McLedger employees are insured under McLedger medical policy.
- Performs any other related duties or assignments as directed by line manager.
- Prepare offer letters and employment contracts for new employees as per company standards.
- Prepare and type correspondence in response to employees’ requests, such as Employment certificates and/or Salary Certificates to external parties.
- Arrange documentation of new employees like security approvals, medical checkups, etc.
- Liaise with the Admin department to issue/renew employees’ visas.
- Monitor employees’ expiration of documents (Visa, Labour Card, EID) to manage the renewal process.
- Assist the Chief Accountant in the Payroll process by monitoring the attendance of all staff.
- Created onboarding induction presentations, welcome packs, training materials, announcements and onboarding meetings
- Collaborated with the recruitment team for new and open positions.
Criteria requirements to be effective:
Adding value by effectively implementing HR processes on both strategic and operational levels including recruitment, employee relations, orientation and key HR administrative activities
Excellent communication in Arabic and English.
General knowledge of HR best practices, policies, procedures and labor law compliance.
Industry knowledge is a big plus
Demonstrable experience with HR metrics.
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
3 to 6+ years’ of previous work experience as an HR partner.
Strong business acumen, time management, and setting priorities
Strong Time Management and Priorities Management Skills.
