Project Accountant Required in Dubai - Dubai
About Us: A highly experienced international consultant. Our services include development management, project management, multi-disciplinary design services as well as cost consultancy and quantity surveying services.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee financial aspects of multiple projects across the UAE and KSA
Ensure accurate and timely management of project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
Handle Value Added Tax (VAT) compliance
Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure financial integrity and adherence to project timelines
Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
Maintain detailed records of project expenditures and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
Assist in the preparation of year-end audits and financial statements
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the UAE, preferably within a multidisciplinary design consultancy
Proven experience in handling VAT compliance and reporting
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements in the UAE and KSA
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
