Professional Driver Required in Dubai
We are looking for an experienced and hard-working driver to serve our supply chain logistics department ensuring all deliveries in a safe and timely manner.
Skills & Qualifications:
Good communications skills (English language is mandatory, other language is an advantage)
Minimum work experience of 2 years as a professional driver
Very familiar with different locations in the UAE.
Excellent verbal skills and good customer relations skills
Ability to drive different vehicles including 3-ton trucks.
Strong knowledge of safety and traffic regulations in UAE
A clean driving record
Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, organize and prioritize responsibilities
Flexible and can-do attitude
Highly motivated and target-driven
Have a good sense of responsibility and most importantly, physically fit
Responsibilities:
Following the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck
Deliver load with good attention to customer service and safety.
Communicating with dispatchers, drivers and other team members to make deliveries
Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
Collect and verify delivery instruction
Load, handle and transport materials and heavy cargo safely.
Obtaining client or customer signatures for deliveries
Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
