Job Details
- Manage the preparation and issuance of purchase orders on regular basis in accordance to product specification required.
- Negotiate and coordinate with the suppliers with the best purchase package in terms of quality, payment, delivery and other services.
- Assign transport carriers to pick-up orders (local and overseas) and ensure on-time delivery.
- Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system.
- Support sales department with quotations and product availability.
- Handle and monitor purchases till items received to warehouse.
- Update relevant department with the status of orders and expected time of delivery.
- Source for suppliers for required merchandise if needed.
- Plan and manage inventory levels if necessary.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Provide secretarial or administrative related support to all departments as required.
Requirements
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree graduate Training, Skills, Knowledge and/or Experience: - Strong personality and communicates well with all relevant personnel. - Excellent in MS Office Applications such as Excel and Word. - Should have ERP accounting background. - Minimum 3 years experience in procurement/purchasing fields.
