Providing in-home medical assistance whenever and to whoever required
Monitoring patient’s condition and assessing his/her needs to provide the best possible care and treatment as per his/her physician’s advice.
Responsible for administering medications, helping with feeding or hygiene tasks (dental care, bathing & other self-care needs), monitoring patient vitals, and taking blood pressure readings.
Observing and interpreting patient’s symptoms and communicating them to his/her therapists, physician and anyone involved in the patient’s care plan.
Assessing changes in the medical status of the patient, the physical and emotional needs of the patient and assist with other total nursing care duties.
Recording patient’s condition and to complete patient care documentation and other paperwork
Making independent clinical decisions when necessary and managing chronic illness
Providing palliative care as needed to keep the patient comfortable.
Requirements
5 years of experience as private nurse or in a similar position.
Can connect or communicate well with the patient so that she can accurately record information, including symptoms and personal conditions.
Must be organized and records information in consistent manner.
Critical thinker, who can make vital decisions that affect patients’ lives.
Gentle and calm when caring for the sick and vulnerable.
Expert at multi-tasking and can manage stress effectively.
