Plastic Surgeon
We’re looking for a skilled Plastic Surgeon to join our globally renowned medical team. The ideal Plastic Surgeon will be expected to carry out face to face consultations with our patients, offer advice on the best surgical options we offer as well as further information about the surgical procedures and the follow up care. Previous experience with performing reconstructive surgery is required in order to be considered for this position.
Role Responsibilities
As a Plastic Surgeon you’ll be responsible for:
- Carrying out consultations with patients; offering further information in regard to surgical procedures.
- Outline the risks and benefits associated with the various procedures performed.
- Prepare patients for surgical and non-surgical procedures.
- Apply appropriate reconstructive, cosmetic, and corrective medical treatments.
- Perform various non-invasive treatments.
- Perform surgeries on patients who want to augment and/or beautify certain body parts.
- Provide patients with prescribed medication and aftercare advice.
- Conduct post operation follow up care with patients who undergo major surgical procedures.
- Follow all medical laws, guidelines, regulations, and injuries.
- Adheres to the Dubai Health Authority policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate
- Must have a medical bachelor’s degree in either medicine or a related major in similar filed.
- Must have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic medicine (DO).
- Must have in depth knowledge and hands on experience with reconstructive surgery.
- Broad knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications.
- Must have at least 3 years’ experience working as a Plastic Surgeon.
- Must hold an active DHA license.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be a fluent English speaker.
- Excellent decision-making skills.
- Great attention to detail.
- Works well under pressure with the ability to make patients feel at ease.
